Reflection for this 2nd quarter

Learning the fundamentals of HTML tags proved more intriguing this quarter and rewarding. Hypertext Markup Language serves the purposes of web development: now, I understand quite some of the structures that make a website and show what the site stands for.

This lesson had taught me that tags like <html>, <head>, and <body> also set the boundary by which a webpage is known. Then comes <h1> to <h6> for headings, <p> for paragraphs, and <a> for hyperlinks that define how content can be defined and link together within the body. Attributes like href and src also introduced me to the inclusion of multimedia and outside materials in a page.

Among the most enjoyable were experiments with code. It made me feel as though the work was accomplished while I saw it through the browser because most of my effort produced something visible. It taught me how much accuracy matters because one little mistake in syntax might spoil everything.

This learning has shown that making webpages was about more than just codes: they were also that of patience and detail. In looking ahead, I am very curious about what advanced topics would bring, like CSS for styling and JavaScript for interactivity.

All these months, I have learned the foundations to create a resonating interest in web development and how technology affects the way communication and creativity are feasted in the digital age.
