Celebrating Environment Month: My Eco-Friendly Actions as a Student at Home

I, as a student, would like to say that regardless of where we are, and in this case at home, we should step forward to make sure that we play our part and protect the environment. I devoted myself during Environment Month to moderation, and tried to implement some of the most basic but important habits concerning waste management and resource use. This is how I as a student show concern of the environment and encourage others to help in promotion of environmental protection.

I use a reusable water bottle while studying, instead of single-use plastic bottles. This simple habit helps reduce plastic waste and promotes a more sustainable lifestyle.

I take care of  plants near my study area, which improves air quality and brings nature inside my home. Plants also make the space more relaxing and eco-friendly.

I tend to make use of old notebooks and used papers to take notes or write drafts. This way, I cut down on the amount of paper waste and utilize the available resources better.

I make sure to turn off my computer, lights, and other electronics when not in use. By doing this, I save energy and lower my carbon footprint, contributing to energy conservation at home.
